OPIATE PAINKILLER WORKSHOP PERFORMANCE
THIRD YEAR PROJECT
For my third year project I have been investigating into the world of painkillers used by chronic pain sufferers. I have discovered the underlying truth's that could effect these specific people.
I became very interested and passionate about exposing the negative impact of taking NSAIDS and opiates.
For my final project is experience design. The final piece I am working on is a performance workshops suitable for young and older adults to intergenerational groups of all abilities.
It will intend acting, performing, mime and dance.
I am focusing on Hallucinations plus other side effects that occur from taking opiate painkillers.

It explores current, ethical issues that many lives face everyday. It was created to be a basic platform for people to experience realistic situations that will give them an insight into the suffering.

The final workshop is a new approach and alternative method to learning about opiate painkillers used by chronic pain sufferers, including addiction and side effects. The style of performance has evolved into a surreal, abstract, illusion of hallucinations and overall depicts a realistic scenario performed in mime.
