Jenny Copleston
Personal Profile
I am recent design graduate awarded a 2.1 from Goldsmiths University looking for full or part time work ideally in the creative industry. I am a confident and motivated individual and I work hard to achieve my objectives. I actively want to learn new skills as well as develop my existing ones. I am a creative person who loves the arts, music, film, and working with like-minded, creative people. I believe I stand out from the crowd because of my creativity and drive to challenge myself. I went to Goldsmiths because their Design course provided a multi-disciplined approach to my studies, which was fascinating and broadened my knowledge base and skills. During my time at university I studied a range of design skills, including in the fields of conceptual design which involved using graphics, making, textiles, video, photography & digital drawing. I also further developed a number of softer skills including presentations, research, group projects, public speaking, and interviewing. I have grown in confidence from having to independently investigate into my projects. Throughout the course there have been lot of group discussions on conceptual art and design and I feel I have developed as person because I have been pushed out of my comfort zone, whilst my knowledge and interests have expanded. I excel working in a team and have found that collaborating is very important to drive the concept of the project forward. It would be an added bonus to be able to work with like-minded creative people.
